Delete your Pawlo account

Pawlo (developed by Ugur Bakisuzun, an independent UK developer) gives you two ways to permanently delete your account and all of the data associated with it. Both routes wipe everything immediately — there is no soft delete and no waiting period.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

This is the fastest way and takes about 10 seconds.

  1. Open the Pawlo app on your phone and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm in the alert that pops up. Your account and all your dog's data will be wiped immediately.

Option 2 — Email us

If you can't access the app — for example, you've already uninstalled it or you've forgotten your password — send us an email and we'll process the deletion manually within 7 days.

Please include the email address you signed up with, so we can find the right account. We may ask one verification question to make sure we are deleting the right account before we proceed.

What gets deleted

Whichever route you use, the following are deleted permanently and cannot be recovered:

Account
Your email address, hashed password, and Supabase auth user record.
Dog profile
Your dog's name, breed, age, sex, and any optional fields you filled in.
Training data
Completed sessions, XP, streaks, badges, missions, programs, and tricks practised.
AI advisor chats
Every message you have ever sent to Pawlo (the AI character) and every reply it gave.
Walks
All recorded walks, GPS routes, distances, and durations.
Health log
Weight logs, vaccination records, and medication entries.
Push notification token
The device token used to send you the daily training reminder.

What is kept (and why)

After deletion, the only thing we may retain is anonymous, aggregated metrics — for example, "how many sessions were completed across all users this month". These cannot be traced back to you, your dog, or your account, and they are used solely to understand how the service is being used in aggregate.

If you ever subscribed to Pawlo Pro, the underlying purchase record is held by Google Play (Android) or Apple (iOS) and by RevenueCat (our payment partner). We do not control those records, but they contain only an anonymous app user ID and the subscription state — never your name or email. To request deletion from RevenueCat, see their privacy policy. To manage your Google Play / Apple subscription history, use those platforms' own account settings.

Retention period

Zero days. Once you tap "Delete account" in the app (or once we process your email request), the deletion is immediate and irreversible. We do not hold your data in a recovery window.

Made a mistake? Once your account is gone, it's gone — there is no undo and we cannot restore it. If you'd like to come back to Pawlo, you can always create a fresh account with the same email address.
